En route radar facility “Utes-T”
"Utes-T" en route radar facility is designed to control air traffic of aircraft on civil aviation routes.
The “Utes-T” facility includes:
- a primary radar
- a built-in secondary radar or an interface facility for an autonomous SSR (on customer's order)
- equipment for processing and combining radar information from the PSR and the secondary radar
The primary surveillance radar of the "Utes-T" complex operates in L-band (23 cm) and is a highly stable radar complex built on the principle of true coherence. The structure of the facility and its construction are similar to the "Utes-A" airfield radar. The difference lies in the fact that the RLL of the "Utes-T" radar has other modes of operation and a more high powered transmitter, consisting of four output amplifier cabinets instead of two, as in the "Utes-A".
